Italian bicycle brands hardly ever require a style tutorial. When it comes to tasteful graphic design and exquisite colourways, nobody matches the Italians.

Bianchi is a proudly Italian road bike brand known for its Celeste green frames. But what if you want an exceptional Bianchi, that isn’t finished in Celeste?

To celebrate the Giro d'Italia, Bianchi has announced a new limited edition version of its Specialissima frame. With a pink design theme, instead of Celeste green.

Bianchi says the inspiration for its Specialissima 105 is the colour of a Dolomite sunset. For the graphic designers interested in exact colour codes, Bianchi has used an Enrosadira pink, applied to the Specialissima 105’s neutral Bianco Corsa white frame finish.

The overall design is quite subtle and features some top tube graphics, indicating the Specialissima 105’s special edition status. Bianchi will only produce 105 of these frames. Each one is numbered to ensure future value for collectors.

One of the world’s most famous races, next year sees the 105thedition of Italy’s Giro d'Italia and Bianchi’s Italian patriotism is obvious.

Beyond its graphic design, the Specialissima 105 retains all those engineering features that make Bianchi's so desirable. Its carbon-frame weighs only 750g and promises terrific ride quality.

Bianchi’s engineers manage to construct the Specialissima 105 frame in a way that optimises lateral stiffness, preventing a loss of power transfer due to frame flex. The real magic of a Specialissima frame is how it manages to be both stiff and comfy to ride.

Balancing the lateral stiffness is great vertical compliance, with Bianchi’s engineers working tirelessly to find the best blend of carbon-fibre, built with the most advanced constructing techniques.

Clever carbon-fibre engineering gives the Specialissima frame great ride comfort, thanks to the frame’s ability to absorb vertical vibrations.
